Out of boredom, I thought this would be assuming – if the “Right Now” widget on the admin dashboard for WordPress said “Spams and Scams” instead of just “Spam”. If this doesn’t make sense to you, you need to watch this.

To do this you need:

• a self-hosted WordPress setup
• access to edit the files on the server

1) Open wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php

Ctrl+F to find “Spam” it should take you down to roughly this block of code

2) Edit line 331 (as per my reference above)

3) Save

Easy. Now you may laugh every time you login to check your spam comments :)
